The galvanised steel wire braid layer protects the internal cores against physical damage, abrasion, and mechanical stress while allowing the cable to remain far more flexible than standard steel wire armoured (SWA) cable. The transparent PVC outer sheath allows visual inspection of the underlying braid, making it an ideal choice for factory automation, high-power 3-phase equipment requiring dedicated neutral and earth lines, industrial control panels, and heavy mobile machinery interconnects.
