Welcome to Electrical Wholesale Supplies Flint. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the purchase of goods from our business. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. General Overview

• Contract: A contract is formed between us once we have processed your payment and despatched your order.

• Pricing: All prices are subject to VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing in the event of manufacturer increases or clerical errors.

• Product Descriptions: We strive for 100% accuracy in our technical data and imagery. However, specifications are subject to change by the manufacturer without prior notice.

2. Shipping and Delivery

• Despatch: Orders placed before 1:00 pm are typically eligible for same-day despatch, subject to stock availability.

• Couriers: We primarily utilise Royal Mail and DPD for our delivery services.

• Delivery Dates: While we aim for prompt delivery, any dates provided are estimates only. We are not liable for any losses (including electrician’s fees) resulting from delayed deliveries.

3. Cancellations and Returns

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations:

• Cooling-off Period: You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for a full refund.

• Condition: Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and in a resaleable condition.

• Exclusions: Special order items or “cut-to-length” cables may be exempt from standard return policies.

4. Faulty Goods and the Consumer Rights Act 2015

We stand behind the quality of our electrical components. If a product is found to be faulty, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are as follows:

• The 30-Day Short-Term Right to Reject: If your goods are faulty, significantly not as described, or unfit for purpose within the first 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund.

• Repair or Replacement: If a fault develops after 30 days (but within 6 months), we are entitled to an opportunity to repair or replace the item. If a repair or replacement is not possible or unsuccessful, you may be entitled to a price reduction or a full refund.

• Manufacturer Warranties: Many of our products (such as LED lighting and switchgear) carry extended manufacturer warranties.

Important Notice on Discontinued Stock: Please note that any MCBs, RCBOs or similar known to be discontinued, used, or “new old stock” are subject to a 30-day warranty ONLY. Any return requests or fault claims made for these specific items after this 30-day period will be cancelled.

5. Supplier Disputes and Invoices

• Disputes: Any discrepancies regarding invoices or carriage charges must be reported to us in writing within 7 days of the invoice date.

• Liability: Our liability is limited to the cost of the goods purchased. We do not accept liability for consequential losses or third-party installation costs.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
