6945X BS5467 SWA 5 core 4mm² armoured cable is engineered to provide reliable mechanical protection and high electrical performance in demanding subterranean, outdoor, and industrial environments. Manufactured strictly to British Standard BS5467 and rated at 600/1000V, this mains cable features high-grade Class 2 stranded plain annealed copper conductors insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) for maximum operating efficiency up to 90°C.
Enclosed within a protective PVC bedding layer and wrapped in galvanised steel wire armour (SWA), 6945X cable offers superior defence against heavy impacts, crushing forces, and mechanical damage. The tough, UV-resistant black PVC outer sheath allows safe direct burial underground, installation in cable ducts, or clipped directly to external walls and structures.
The 5-core layout—comprising Brown, Black, Grey, Blue, and Green/Yellow insulated cores—provides dedicated phase, neutral, earth, and control conductors for versatile 3-phase power, sub-mains, or high-capacity signal distribution circuits.
