Constructed with flexible fine-wire copper conductors, PVC insulation, a galvanised steel wire braid (GSWB) inner layer, and a clear PVC outer sheath, this 3 core 6mm² SY cable combines robust mechanical protection with high current-carrying capacity and flexibility.
The galvanised steel wire braid layer protects the internal cores against physical damage, abrasion, and mechanical stress while allowing the cable to remain far more flexible than standard steel wire armoured (SWA) cable. The transparent PVC outer sheath allows visual inspection of the underlying braid, making it an ideal choice for factory automation, industrial control panels, high-power plant machinery, and mobile equipment feeds.
